Why We Care
In the Microsoft in 2005 case by David Yoffie et al., “Digital Strategy for Consumers” is the section that our team will report on; specifically, home entertainment devices and content such as the Xbox and the Media Center PC (12). This section appealed to us because all four of our team members have played Xbox and been exposed to Media Center PC, which is in our everyday Microsoft software.
Why Should You Care
Many people, if not all, have played Xbox or used Media Center PC. You can play Halo, Gears of War, and many other exciting Xbox exclusive games. On the Media PC, you can view pictures and play movies. It is important for everyone to understand how Microsoft evolved into the company it is today. Moreover, we should be aware of the tremendous technological advances the Xbox and Media Center PC are undergoing as we speak.
